Business Papers

The Order of Business outlines the procedures of the House. It shows the items on the agenda for a particular sitting, such as the progress of the minutes from previous sessions, signifying if they are confirmed or deferred. Additionally any announcements by the Speaker, the Governor and Ministerial Statements being presented in the House.

The Order of Business is a useful instrument for the Speaker of the House, as it outlines all the events of the session and gives order to the proceedings. After the Order of Business is completed the House will move to the Orders of the Day.
