Senate Parliamentary Questions

In the Senate, the procedures for Parliamentary Questions are similar to the House of Assembly, with small differences. One instance can be found in Standing Order 65 subsection 3, which stipulates that a question must be written, signed by a Member and shall be received by the Clerk, not less than six clear days before the day on which the answer is required. In the House of Assembly the Clerk must receive written questions, not less than nine days before the day on which the answer is required.
