The Standing Orders Committee
consists of the Speaker and five other members. It has the duty of
considering and reporting on:
(a) such matters relating to the
Standing Orders as may be referred to it by the House;
(b) such matters which appear to
affect the powers and privileges of the House as may be referred to it by the
House;
(c) such matters relating to the
Standing Orders or appearing to affect the powers and privileges of the House
as the committee may deem to require consideration.
